Medicine body workshop is based on somatic movement & oriental medicine to experience our body and mind in the present moment with all our senses to explore energy medicine wisdom and creation.
This is an opportunity to dive into a process of direct feeling, sensing and perceiving through the water element where we can bridge to a deeper sense of creation and healing within.
In Oriental medicine, the 5 elements represent natural qualities of energy. Water is the fundamental source for life. Its quality is nourishing, healing and transformative.
Kidneys represent the water element in our body. Kidney energy is responsible to unfold a life cycle.
Jing is the essence of the water that holds a blueprint to create life. Water spirit hosts Invincibility and will power. Fear affects the kidneys and limits water spirit.
In the workshop, we will explore the transformative and creative qualities of the water, experiencing through felt senses and double awareness.
Seeing -Being Seen
Moving -Being moved
And explore a process of transforming the polarities such as:
Light – Shadow
Desire – Fear
Flow – Resistance
We will work with slow movement, sensory practice, drawing and writing to transform and translate our inquiry process, and work as a group and partnering format to support each other’s journey.
