Medicine body workshop is based on somatic movement & TCM to experience our body and mind in the present moment with all our senses to explore energy medicine wisdom and creation.
This is an opportunity to dive into a process of direct feeling, sensing and perceiving through the earth element where we can bridge to a deeper sense of creation and healing within.
In Oriental medicine, the earth element plays an important role. Earth is linked to the Spleen and Stomach, responsible for digestion, transforming and transporting nutrients to the rest of the body. It is also the origin of body fluids and energy ( post heaven Qi). Its quality is grounding, integrating and nourishing.
The spirit of Earth is called “Yi” which means integrity, intention, clear thought and devotion. Over-thinking and over-worries are the relevant emotions that inhibit the earth energy.
In the workshop, we will explore the grounding and nourishing qualities of the earth element by working with gravity and interconnectedness of the body, experiencing through felt senses.
