At Medicine Body Studio, Kay Patru offers Soma Shiatsu and deep tissue bodywork designed to relieve pain, restore mobility, and support nervous system balance. These sessions combine shiatsu therapy, somatic awareness, and movement-based practices to address both physical tension and the body’s internal balance.

Soma Shiatsu is a form of Japanese bodywork rooted in traditional shiatsu, working along the body’s meridian system through touch, pressure, and sensitivity. Integrated with somatic therapy, it supports the release of held tension patterns while improving body awareness, posture, and overall regulation.

Soma shiatsu helps with:

  • back, neck and shoulder pain
  • mobility and balance
  • stress, anxiety and burnout
  • sports injuries and RSI
  • chronic muscular tension
  • preventive body care and body awareness
